“Is college worth it?”
This is one of the biggest questions many young adults ask themselves.
And the answer is: It depends.
Let’s look at the pros and cons.
College Is Worth It
College is worth it if your dream is to work a job that requires credentials.
These are usually STEM jobs such as:
- Doctor
- Lawyer
- Engineer
If that’s the case, most of the content on this website is not for you.
(And you should probably close your browser window).
College Is Not Worth It
If you:
- Have no idea what you want to do
- Want to be an entrepreneur
- Want time + location + financial freedom
Then college is not worth it.
Why?
You will be $100k+ in debt and waste 4 years of prime life, being no closer to your goals.
Most of your professors will be ivory-tower dweebs headbobbling over empty theories instead of business G’s with real experience.
Tell me, how many biz professors have run a successful biz themselves?
Right…
So how can you expect them to teach you how to do it?
In fact, the “general ed” classes will even install a self-defeating mindset.
You will be forced to take classes such as:
- Guilt 101
- Ancient Cucks
- Victimhood 2B
- Intro To Anti-Wealth
This kind of “education” fills your brain with massive mental chains that ensures you never reach true success.
And it takes a minimum of 5+ years to unfuck yourself from that garbage.
(If actively worked on).
But What About The Social Factor?
1 of the redeeming aspects of college is the social factor.
You’re placed in a unique environment full of people your age from all over the world.
The exciting, youthful vibe isn’t easily replicated.
But you don’t even have to go to college to enjoy it.
Huh???
Simply move to a college town and work a service job such as:
- Valet
- Bouncer
- Bartender
- Tour guide
- Nightclub promoter
while building your own income streams on the side.
This allows you to mingle with the college scene and make the same connections you would if you were going to class.
In fact, it will help you develop even better social skills because you’re forced to interact with tons of people on a daily basis.
Alternatives?
Nowadays with the internet, there’s no excuse not to have high income skills and a basic understanding of how money works.
In the 4+ years it takes to graduate, you could already be getting paid a 6+ figure salary.
You can even take courses from successful biz owners with real experience.
Why waste your time prepping yourself to be a $70k wagie with a terrible commuter job when you can make more than that by yourself?
Conclusion
- College is worth it if your dream is to work a job that requires credentials
- College is not worth it if you want to be an entrepreneur
- The social aspect can be replicated by living in a college town
- Teach yourself high income skills with the internet + courses
