What was your first encounter with real wealth?
Mine happened when I was 19.
I had just secured an internship at a “non-corporate” import / export plastics company and was excited to learn about business.
First Lightbulb Moment: I Saw The Company Had No More Than 5 Employees.
How was it possible to make so much money with such a lean operation?
A: the answer comes down to logistics.
You see, an import / export business is pretty much “dropshipping” on a larger scale.
Instead of selling cheap garbage from Aliexpress, this company had large enterprise clients such as:
- Medical companies
- Toy companies
- etc
Their job was to source raw material at a good price.
Second Lightbulb Moment: Solve A Large Problem Within An Existing Flow Of Money.
The demand was already proven.
The main “work” was simply:
- Outreach
- Closing
- And relationship building.
This was done with emails, direct response mail, and phone calls.
The official “company website” was only 1 homepage with an email address.
Nothing fancy whatsoever.
If this company could make multi-millions in profit with a minimal web presence, then imagine what the possibilities are now.
Puttin in dat work preparing mail
When the owner came in, all he did was check up on his machine to make sure it was running smoothly.
That’s right.
A multi-millionaire business owner doing zero work at all.
Third Lightbulb Moment: All The Work Was Outsourced Into Systems.
That’s all there was to it.
- Keep logistics lean
- Solve a large problem in an existing flow of money
- Outsource the work into systems you own
There are those same principles again.
Leverage, Position, Ownership.
And when you apply them correctly, you simply can’t lose.
