What Are The 6 Most Important Traits Of High Value Men?

What are the most important traits of high value men?

What do they have in common?

I’m not talking about fat dweebs with money…

You know the guys.

The ones who seem to have it all.

There’s something all those guys have in common.

And that “something” is broken down into 6 traits.

  1. Grit / Discipline
  2. Have A Purpose / Mission
  3. Live By A Personal Code
  4. Self-Respect / Self-Belief
  5. Awareness / Perspective
  6. Emotional Independence

Let’s go deeper.

1. Grit / Discipline

The most successful people in the world have the highest stress tolerance.

They know how to handle pressure and thrive under it.

This is also known as GRIT.

Grit is the power to keep going no matter what.

(And discipline is what gives it direction).

If you have this trait, there’s literally nothing that can stop you from realizing your vision.

You can see it in this scene from Terminator 2.

Arnie gets shot a million times but he keeps moving forward.

2. Have A Purpose / Mission

This ties in with the previous point.

Grit is meaningless if it isn’t being directed somewhere.

That’s where your purpose / mission comes in.

It unifies your actions and life.

Living without a mission is like sailing without a destination.

When you’re clear about your mission, goals and objectives flow from it.

This makes it easier to identify and remove dead-weight.

Every activity you engage in and person you surround yourself with should bring energy to your mission.

It can take months / years to perfect your vision.

(Most don’t look past 3-5 years).

Your mission is the anchor for your frame.

It’s the core of your existence.

It must stand the test of many decades despite what happens around you.

It should be clear and uncomplicated, without a definite end point.

However, having mini-missions that build into a larger one is acceptable.

Every single high value man gives his life to something greater than himself, which is his mission.

3. Live By A Personal Code

There isn’t a single high value man who lives without a personal code of principles.

Why?

All power rests upon it.

You see, if your code folds when tested, you don’t have a code at all.

(And this requires strength to uphold).

Without strong principles you’re easily swayed and manipulated.

Things are never complicated when you live by a clear code.

Your value system is your foundation.

Principles make living easier because they automatically make difficult decisions for you.

Your mission and code must be in complete 100% harmony.

You must view your mission through the eyes of your code at all times.

If your mission breaks your code, it isn’t a valid mission.

Code > Mission.

4. Self-Respect / Self-Belief

None of this is possible without self-respect and self-belief.

That’s what enforces the baseline of your standards.

Your self-respect is made up of all your:

  • Ideas
  • Stories
  • Images
  • Actions
  • Pictures
  • And especially your beliefs about yourself.

It’s the reputation you have with yourself.

You want to create a clear mental picture of yourself as a person who is in control of his time and life.

When you value yourself and have high self-esteem the likelihood you’ll allow yourself to be treated as a loser is low.

This is the absolute foundation of your value and success.

After all, you can only attract and keep what your self-esteem will allow.

5. Awareness / Perspective

A high value man sees the world differently.

He has uncommon perspective.

And as you know, an uncommon perspective leads to uncommon results.

Where most are playing the game of life in the dark, he sees the board with crystal clarity.

Perspective = pattern recognition.

This exposes opportunity and potential moves.

The right perspective cuts through everything.

All the:

  • Bloat
  • Bullshit
  • Etc.

that drags others down.

6. Emotional Independence

A high value man does not need:

  • Pity
  • Validation
  • Emotional support
  • Or encouragement

This requires him to control the habitual level of his inner environment.

He is 100% self-validated and needs no one for anything.

(Even though he might enjoy their company).

This makes him strong even in isolation.

Losers are reliant on the energy of others and their validations.

Conclusion

These 6 traits are what allow you to “have it all”.

They are the root causes behind the results.

If you focus on cultivating them, you simply can’t lose.
