Today I want to talk about how all money is not equal.
Is 100k wagie income = to 100k online cash flow?
No.
That’s because the online cash flow comes with ownership.
The ownership multiple is at minimum 4x what a wagie income is.
Which means you can sell your system for 4x your cash flow.
If you make 100k, your system is worth at least 400k.
You can’t sell your job, but you can sell your biz at any time.
That’s why I keep talking about ownership and equity.
It’s a completely different game and playing field than if you’re giving all your time to someone else.
When you exchange time for money, you get paid once and that’s it.
If you’re building your own thing, all those assets are owned by you.
(Until you sell them).
And that compounds on itself.
Not to mention, the time it frees up.
If you’re making even a couple thousand a month passively, that opens up your time by a lot.
- You don’t have to commute
- You don’t have to spend on gas
- You don’t have to spend on the office lifestyle
You save all that time and money.
And you can use that time to make even more money.
To learn more stuff.
To learn more skills.
And it compounds on itself.
One thing that a lot of people forget is that wealth is not just money…
It’s also time.
So if you’re making that kind of money at a young age, it’s completely different than if you’re making it in your 60’s.
You want to maximize the quality of your time as early as you can.
The quality of your time is determined by:
- Time
- Location
- Financial freedom
aka online cash flow that you don’t really have to do much to maintain.
Even if you have one extra stream of just a couple thousand a month, that already opens up your time and gives you a shitload more independence than if you’re fully dependent on a job.
(And you can sell it at any time for a multiple).
You can flip that and come up to get money that you can spend on everything that you couldn’t get with your wagie money.
And this is one of the most important lessons you can ever learn.
Don’t forget the value of ownership
